Our new addition!

Jaxon's best friend, Nate, is about to graduate in construction management. So we had him finish this apartment underneath our office for our kids when they come home to work for the summer. It will be so nice for them to have their own space! It sure turned out nice. (That's a bathroom door off the kitchen.)

Our first meal in the basement apartment.

Brittany made us white chilli. Yum!

Uh Oh!

A few days ago, Dad opened the garage door in the morning and got this surprised look on his face. He said, "We got a problem"! Jax and I were thinking......a skunk? something dead? This is what he saw. Axa has been going upstairs in the garage at night and walking out on the insulated area that is only sheetrock. Ya, she broke through! I wonder how long she'd been there. When Jax and Dad got up there with the ladder to get her, she was shaking. Then Jax tried to pick her up but she jumped. On the way down her claws got Jax in the leg pretty good. He has a big nasty bruise but wouldn't let me take a picture because it was too high up on his leg. (If you're wondering why we have a tree in our garage, it came from Kelleen Barney's wedding and her Aunt wanted us to bring it home for her. )

Taking John's Family to Shoot - First Time Experience

The Gifts

John's family brought these shirts for us as a gift. Dad and Jaxon came out and modeled them. You can imagine the silly way they walked out to model these shirts. John's mom could not quit laughing.

We love Granddaughters!

Watchin' a movie (look at the girl's poses :-)

Macy's hair looks pretty red in this picture.

Goin' for a ride.

Twin Bikes

Dad bought another Goldwing! Now it's time to ride!

JOHN

John (Chi Hang) Sin came to Idaho Falls as an exchange student from Macau, China. Jaxon went to school with him and they became friends. After that school year John left, but he and Jaxon kept in contact. John loved his experience so much that he wanted to come back to the US. He got into a private 7th Day Adventist High School in California for his senior year. He hated it. It was nothing like Idaho! During that year he came to our house for Christmas. John had a few missionary discussions during that visit. After HS graduation we helped him get into the English Language Center at BYU. He had wonderful roommates there who finished the missionary discussions with him. In Sept. 2003, John called and asked if he could come to Idaho Falls and have Jaxon baptize him. After ELC, he was accepted to BYU-Idaho where he majored in Computer Information Systems with a minor in Communications. He graduated on April 10th, 2009. His family came from China for the graduation. His childhood friend, Max who now lives in San Franscisco, also came with his girlfriend, Ida. John has adopted us as his American parents. He is a wonderful young man with a bright future ahead of him. We love you John!

A surprise visit!

A few weeks ago, the doorbell rang. I opened the door and look who was standing there! Eron (Brian's brother) and Cynthia! They live in Kettle Falls, WA. Dad was out doing water levels so we arranged to see them that night. Eron, Cynthia and Jason came for a visit that evening. It was such a pleasant surprise! We wish we could see them more often!

I'M SO MAD!!!

So after a month of boring posts, we finally go somewhere that I could take some interesting blog pictures and I forget to bring the battery charger for my camera! No problem, right? Dad probably brought his camera.........NO HE DIDN'T!!! So.........no pictures of Grandma & Grandpa, no pictures of Uncle Tom & Aunt Sirena, no pictures of Arizona! It's frustrating. Sorry guys! Love you all!
