Lincoln Birthplace
There was a cabin inside this building, but not the actual Lincoln cabin.

This is the area Lincoln lived in as a little boy.
The colors are so beautiful this time of year! This picture doesn't do it justice!

Dad surprised me a took me to the National Quilt Museum.
(What a great husband!) It was amazing!
Dave Burgess (Dad's former work colleague) is working at the site in Paducah, KY. Dave wanted to know what was going on with the hydrology in Idaho. We took him to Texas Roadhouse and had a very nice time visiting with him. We love the Burgess family!

Bikin' in Nauvoo

We had so much fun!.......

.....until.....
we had to bike up the hill to get to our fifth wheel :-)
We ARE getting old!
After biking, Cranney's took us out for dinner and to the play at the old cultural hall. Then we went to their home to visit again. Another awesome day in Nauvoo!

Nauvoo Carraige Ride

Dad with Mike Cranney (farmer from Oakley on a mission in Nauvoo)
The colors are so beautiful here!

Checking out the horses.

Sunday in Nauvoo

I made dad a birthday cake and he cooked some delicious fish for dinner.
We went to church Sunday morning, had dinner, took a nice nap, took a drive by the temple, went to a fireside with Cranney's (missionary couple from Oakley, ID) about the building of the Nauvoo temple, then went to Cranney's home to visit . It was a wonderful day!
