Mom with sweet little Macy Ann.

Dad made a firepit in the backyard and, of course, we had to try it out!

For Jaimie's birthday we had cherry cheesecake and the girls gave their mom the presents.

We love you Jaimie! We are glad you were born into our family!

Krupp's are here!

Jaimie and her family are here for the summer to work for us. It's so nice to have the apartment built in the basement for them to stay in. We are enjoying spending time with them and most especially with our beautiful little granddaughters!

The girls wanted to shave with Dad.

We forgot what it was like to have little children around and discovered that we don't have a very childproof house. We have had several incidents where curious little girls have gone exploring and had lots of fun. This picture is the result of Elsie getting into grandma's makeup and deciding to put some on the doll. Other adventures include...white out painted on the desk, sugar sprinkled all over the cupboard, water sprayed all over the floor from the kitchen faucet sprayer, koolaide packages and lemon extract dumped out on the storage room floor, many scoops of laundry soap in the dryer and on the floor in the laundry room, honey and fingernail polish on the apartment counter top, handfuls of dirt from the tree in the livingroom thrown all over the living room.....and more. Wow. What will they think of next? :-) We pulled out the gate for the stairs and now use the locks on all the doors.
Jaimie caught Elsie with a mouthful of grandpa's gobstoppers. She was trying to get her to spit them out, but Elsie refused. Then Jaimie tried to take them out and Elsie swallowed them. When Dad got home I told him about it. He had Elsie on his lap and was questioning her.
Dad: "Did you get into Grandpa's gobstoppers?"
Elsie: "No"
Dad: "Did you eat any?"
Elsie: "No"
Dad: "Were they good?"
Elsie: "Yes" :-)

We love our little girls!

Camping to and from Eron's house

Dad was having a great time making smoke rings with his burnt stick. Look below the chair.

Trip to Eron's (Dad's Brother)

We made a trip to Kettle Falls, WA to be there for some special events for Uncle Eron's family. Bethany got married, Rachel got baptized and graduated from high school, and Kellie's baby was blessed. It was a wonderful time (except for when Axa attacked their dogs-that was horrible). It was so nice to have Dad's family together again after many years. Diane was missing, but everyone else was there.

Getting ready to go.

We have been having sooooooooooo much rain!
This was a beautiful sight!
