Oh, for crying out load. Noone told me you had to start at the end of the trip and work up. Change it, screw that! You all just look at the pictures anyway. Noone cares where we went and how we got there. Whatever. (shut-up Jaxon and Dallon, you too Kristie Ione).

...to McCall. Come on, really, don't you think this 60 year old man's pony tail is sexy? I think I should grow one of those and stick it through the gap on the back of my hat. Certainly I could earn some respect points with my grandchildren.

Then up over Galena where Jared's chain came in half, my headlight decided to stop working in the night, the wind and rain came in gusts, and Barney slept through the entire thing (at Red Fish Lake) while Jared and I struggled immensely.

A very rewarding ride. Oh, and Barney, your motorcycle skills are greatly improved and impressive. Next ride.......D.C.

Another great campsite on the South Fork of the Clearwater....
Through Bovill, Idaho, to Dwarshak Dam on the North Fork of the Clearwater.

Athol (pronounced by holding your tongue with your thumb and index finger and saying "apple") where my beautiful granddaughters are visiting G&G Krupp and their cousins.

I kept singing in my mind, "If it says Libby's, Libby's, Libby's, on the label, label, label..." If you don't remember that you were in diapers or heaven at the time.

I cook some wicked Telford burger.

Another Perfect camp site.

Glacial outwash plain northern Idaho. I should add that we rode from Beartooth Pass to the back side of Great Falls then over to Glacier Park. Around the bottom of the park due to road construction. Then on to Bonner's Ferry, down to.....

We rode more than 2,000 miles and all but 50 miles looked just like this. They should be called the Brian Higgs Teeth mountains.

Campsite in northwest Montana on a bird refuge.

Big mining country.

Typical lunch break. Barney is sleeping near the sign and Jared is flat on the grass behind.

I had never been there before neither had Keith or Jared. Spectacular!!!!! Driving into the center of the Earth on the surface. (Geologist sill understand). Very interesting that Phillip Sheridan, US Army, 1888 was the first person to make a road through this wilderness. Sheridan is from Civil War fame as the Cavalry Officer who killed JEB Stewart. Can you imagine dragging wagons and cannon over these mountains?
OK. Enough of that engagement/marriage crap. Let's talk motorcycles. Barn man, Jared and I went for a very short 5 day ride. Jaxon had to stay in Burley and mind the store. We started through Yellowstone Park. That mostly was a $20 per motorcycle waste but cut a couple hundred miles off. Then on to Bear Tooth Pass.

Thirty years ago today!

Thirty years ago I married Brian Higgs! I let him design the wedding announcement. He was crazy then, he's crazy now, and there is never a dull moment at our house! I sure do love him! Happy Anniversary Buddy!
