We just sent our son off last night to go back to his army base in Alaska. It was probably the hardest thing we've ever had to do in our life. Dallon is in a Army Airborne Infantry Division and is a gunner (machine gun). He is leaving for the Middle East very soon.
We honor him for his courage and desire to serve his country and help make the world a better place. We love you so much Dallon! Our prayers will be with you!

Great post, Mom! I liked the comment about Grandpa Higgs. :)
I just love the Reeds for posting things like that on their marquee.

Thanks Dallon. My hubby Sean will be going to the middle east (Afghanistan) this year also. Not until July so hopefully you'll be home by then. Be safe.

I just keep thinking (and told Jaxon and Brit) that this would be definately harder than sending a boy on a mission.
Jaxon was pretty emotional Sunday and gave a beautiful testimony - You could tell that his brother was on his mind.
We will keep your son in our prayers as well, and we thank him for serving our country.

We're praying for him, and have been for a long time. Every day.
