After many years of looking, we finally found some property in Burley! Almost all of Brian's work is in the Burley area and it continues to increase. The commute and living apart has become very tiring and it is difficult when our family tries to gather because Brian cannot break away from his work for very long during the summer. So we have decided to re-locate and we are very excited for the new adventure. (For now, we are keeping our IF home until we decide where to retire.)We purchased 4 acres about 9 miles southwest of Burley city center. It is in the middle of prime farm ground and we love it. The property was used as a corral for cattle, so it is many years worth of composted manure. We should have an amazing garden! Brian, Jaxon, Brittany, Jared and I worked to take down fences, burn weeds, take old equipment to be recycled, etc.
We marked out where we wanted the house to go.
Then Brian rented a backhoe and started digging. We hit rock on the west end and will try to break some of that out, but will probably settle for a half basement.
Brian has been working from sun-up 'til sun-down.

Wow, I didn't know you guys were digging now. So you will be able to have a partial basement? Jay and Sandy have partial basement. It's nice.
